Still on pokemon green, up to fifty hours and 82 pokemon now. Also rocking out with a bit of Gurulogic Champ, which is just great and up there with picross as far as logic puzzles go. Has a bit of the tetrishead problem though, and I keep looking at these forums and my brain is trying to rotate it and drop pieces in. It's got terrific animation too. Been playing a bit of Chokkan Hitofude too, only Checkmate though, cos I can't stand the stupid ochige challenge mode. Definitely gonna pick up Tsuukin Hitofude on the gba, especially snice it's so cheap on play-asia.

I've mostly been playing Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star): Hokuto Kami Denshoumono no Michi on the DS.
It is made of WIN and AWESOME. In the manga / anime, Kenshiro kills his enemies by attacking their acupuncture points... So in this game you attack them with your stylus!
It plays out like an interactive manga (which is a faithfully abridged version of the complete story, manga fans) crossed with Ouendan. If you've seen the anime you'll know what's going on in the story but if not it's pretty self explanatory - bad men attack innocent people, Kenshiro gets pissed, rips their balls off with the Hundred Crack Fist etc etc
Anyway, manga panels showing enemies appearing one at a time, with their pressure points lit up. Tap all their points and they'll politely die so you can move onto the next. A timer runs around the edge of each panel like a dynamite fuse. You get perfects by killing them within one lap and fail if you don't do it within two. You can also get combos by not missing with the stylus or failing any panels.
All the big battles from the original story are recreated here as boss battles which have a wide variety of other attack types to master. These have more complex tapping attacks such as number ordered attacks or sequences where you must trace a line, rub a circle, blow into the mic etc etc.
The game also has a few other things like a trivia quiz (which I can't play as I can't read Japanese), a multiplayer (which again I don't know anything about because I can't read the manual) and some kind of puzzle picture mode as well as stuff like character profiles, collectible cards etc.
It's only a tenner from Play Asia so definately worth picking up if you're a fan of ball-rippin' animes or need to make your order value up for a coupon etc.

I bought 3 xbla games for the first time!
Braid, Bionic Commando and Castlevania SOTN and 360 version of Hitman Blood Money off ebay.
Finished Braid, thought it was ok, bit overrated and while playing and loving Bionic commando....this was not worth 1200 points.
After Braid I moved onto Bionic Commando, amazing value for a xbla game. I finished all the challenge rooms (56 ARGH!!!!!). I am on the last level and I hate it! HATE IT SOOO MUCH!!!! There I was thinking after doing those annoying long ass rooms "ok! boss time!!!" then only to be greeted with more evil platforming for another 20 or so minutes :_:
Got to the last boss and died....
Castlevania SOTN I already own on playstation and finished many times, but this version runs at full speed (have the PAL version) and looks nice upscaled. So will have a proper play through later in the week.
Tried Hitman Blood money for a bit, got past the first level then got bored and turned off. I'll give it another go later.
Next up is Castle Crashers!!!!
xbla <3
