What has everyone been playing this week?

This week I'm playing Sky Crawler and Tenchu 4 on the Wii. Tenchu was really annoying at first but I'm now starting to get in to it. I just wish there was more free fighting but apart from that it's pretty good. Some lovely graphical effects in there for sure. How it plays to other Tenchu games I can't say since I've never played any of the others.

Pretty much messing about with Far Cry 2's multiplayer and working my way through Disaster: Day of Crisis this week. It's all good with these two. I know I'm likely wasting my time but now waiting to see what the reviews for Quantum say...

WipEout HD (PS3) mostly. Slogging my way through the Elite difficulty of races to try and get the Elite Campaign Legend trophy.

When the lounge TV isn't free, I continue with Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials & Tribulations (DS). Brilliant as all Ace Attorney games are, but some of the solutions don't feel as intuiitive as the first game (Justice For All fell into this trap too). Currently on case 3 and it's surprisingly dark for a mid-game case. Capcom usually reserve this kind of evil for the final cases of their AA games.

I am trying to play too many games at the same time. Bioshock and Fable 2 are the biggest culprits.

Received Rock band on friday and have been steadily progressing with it. I only have two songs left on expert guitar before I complete solo tour. Half way through Medium drums and have been enjoying the singing but haven't bothered with the tour yet. Doing okay on medium but hard mode kicks my balls.

Fired up DoDonPachi for the first time in a while tonight and added 2 million onto my highscore. 13,277,690. Noice.

My willpower for 'wait for the LBP bundle' fizzled out last weekend, so I have been playing Motorstorm (I really like it!) and GT5 Prologue this week. Still got another 6 games that I picked up off eBay, so will be occupied for a little while... Well, until my copy of LBP arrives

Had a few off and online races of GT5 last night. That Norwegian mountain circuit is really cool!

I thought the Spec III update for GT5 was having damage in it, or did I totally misread that?

I just finished Fatal Frame II, and it's the first game I've ever finished, watched the credits, set the difficulty up one notch and started again. Lovely game, and I feel silly that it's been sitting in shrinkwrap since 2004.

So that's what I'm playing this next week too.

I'm still playing the rather wonderful Saints Row 2. Now up to 20hrs, own loads of cribs and businesses, have finished one of the gangs storylines and loads of activities. Such fun!

In an effort to push through the most pressing games in my backlog, I'm now at the start of MGS4's act 5. I've warned the missus that I'll be commandeering the TV tonight so I should be able to make some more progress.

Between looking after little man and work I have been squeezing in some Saints Row 2 (still fun, a good 1/2 hour blast kind of game), Far Cry 2 (still on track to be GOTY personally) and Fallout 3 (major time sink )

I have a week off soon so look forward to playing more of these, bloody good xmas period if your a certain kind of gamer this year...

Where's the Wii big hitters? I genuinely stunned that for the second year there are no AAA xmas Wii titles...
