What has everyone been playing this week?

I'm still slowly getting into Morrowind: The Elder Scrolls III YoftyE - I've spent a week in on it (about 15 hrs) and still haven't bothered to go to Balmora yet to complete what I think is the very first main task offered. Yet I've been very busy doing stuff and It's just dawning on me how vast the game is.

I found the last track in EBA to be a lot harder than in Ouendan, so if you've beat that you should be fine! The main thing to watch out for in RSG is that you always finish a slider properly, I found it was so quick that I'd pull up 0.2 seconds earlier than I should and it counts as a 100 instead of a 300 and your life depletes quicker.

I don't know if it was your tip that helped but I caned it last night - got an S - no misses, only one 50. It might also have been the change of stylus and dusting of talcum powder on my stylus fingers - I kid you not.

Good to see that as with EBA, there's a secret semi-soft-porn level that you unlock, as Only Blokes Could Get That Far. Although I'm not sure if I'll bother to complete it - I didn't with EBA as it seemed to tilt the fun/challenging balance somewhat away from fun.

This week I've been playing:

World of Warcraft - Wrath of the Lich King - The quest for nice epics, money, mounts and levels go on! Loving it though. Since respeccing my Warrior I've found it a joy, and regularly take out several enemies at once

Call of Duty: World at War - Always loved the COD games, and this s no exception! Playing it on Hardened though (always do now since COD4 taught me how rewarding that is) - it is ROCK HARD though!

Tomb Raider Underworld - When has it NOT been fun to play with Lara?!

Prince of Persia - Stunning, just stunning!

Saints Row 2 - Shocking statement time - I think it might be better than GTA4.....

On the Horizon - Fallout 3!

Call of Duty 4 - still loving this and decided to try and do a pestige run

Guitar Hero word tour and Rock band 2 - had a massive games nite yesterday/today, and between the two games we spent 6/7 hours on them!
Hilarious and brilliant fun in equal measures. One of my straight laced friends was singing 'purple haze' on ghtw while I was drumming. The problem was his delivery was more William Shatner than Jimmy Hendrix. Drumming isn't easy when there are tears of laughter rolling down your face!

I do have my eye on Gamestation at the moment to see what they are offering as the deal of the day as there are a few games that I am hoping will be reduced in price

Resistance 2 has not left my PS3 since the game come out i do love it so after this i am playing on playing the way to the end of fallout 3 i really must get past the mountain of game i have on the back burner

Picked up Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon for the DS yesterday and put a couple of hours into it. Really impressed with it so far, am going to start a first play thread for it later.

I recently polished off Gears 2 on normal. I might have another crack at it on hardcore soon. I'm also playing the Resi 5 demo and a bit of HD Remix.

Played more Rock Band 2, drums this week, using the GHWT drums, and as it's not set up for those, missing a few beats every now and again, on Easy too, I really am rubbish at these games, thank funk for easy mode!

Gears 2 Horde Mode, yet to get a single achievement on this game, but played Horde mode a couple of times and it was a good laugh, got to level 9 first time out, and 5 and 4, so regressing, not so good!

LittleBigPlanet, played another level of this, do enjoy just firing it up, playing a level and turning it off before doing something else.

Home, if you play it, very sparse at the minute and not convinced it's really going to be a great thing, seems very much a marmite feature of the PSN, and for me, it's a pile of meh.

Have loads more games to play and try out also, really looking forward to a couple of days of nothing.

Animal Crossing City Folk - Wii: If you like Animal Crossing you'll love it. The definitive version. Can't get my missus off of it when I wanna play something else.

GTi Club+ - PSN: A nice console conversion with added free roam mode and car paint editing. They changed the music a bit though!

Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD remix - PSN: I'm sure it's harder than I remember it.

Really want to get GTI Club but can't justify it at the minute, I've played nothing this week, apart from testing DOJ in the cab when I put it in a couple days ago, but I haven't got into playing it properly as of yet.

Age of Empires: Mythologies on DS at the moment. Transformers the Animated Series is waiting in the wings till I get tired of AoEM. At home, given up on Fallout 3 for a bit, now revisiting Ocarina of Time.
