What has everyone been playing this week?

I'm mostly playing the new DS Anno and Rogue Touch on my iPod Touch.

Still doing XBox Timesplitters Future Pefect - after almost three weeks on it I'm only now getting that must move on to something else feel. It certainly won't be another FPS.

TS: FP is a great game but has a very peculiar mix of difficulty levels. Some of those Arcade and Challenge missions are an absolute pig to get Gold rank on, others you can Platinum first time.

Half-way thru CoD5 on Veteran. Why, oh why, have I willingly subjected myself to such pain? Cuz I've got nothing else to play, that's why.*sob*

Downloaded the new maps at the weekend ,too. I wasn't going to bother with them but I was short of something to do. They're alright, I suppose. I just can't put my finger on it, because I had an unhealthy addiction to the multiplayer on CoD4, but I'm just not getting the same buzz from CoD5.

Roll on Modern Warfare 2.

Oh, and I also finished Portal teh other day. First playthrough for me, and I can see why it's a forum fave. Didn't like the last two levels, though. They broke my brain and I had to cheat by looking on YouTube.

I read back through the old Portal thread earlier, and some people were saying how they completed it within a couple of hours. I fail at life...it took me ages...at least over four hours...and I cheated.

Super Street Fighter 2 X demo - again a superb version. The 3DO was a very capable console and this proves it

well ive been playing Sacred 2 its pretty awesome very big map and the UI is great for a console think its just as good as diablo well if any forumites wanna get questing hit me up

Im really enjoying Castlevania Ecclesia on the DS - Always liked the 2D castlevania games........ About a 3rd of the way through now..... Im ummin' and arrin' over Infamous, as im not 100&#37; sure i will like it, having seen a couple of trailers...... Time will tell.......

I used to buy that magazine now and then, I wouldn't mind reading it again, I did send a letter in about M2 but the mag got canned the week after

I'm cheating a bit by including the last few weeks but I've been mopping up and completing some games I've not yet seen the end of.

I completed Rainbow Six Vegas 2 awhile ago and although it was good with a great Terrorist Hunt mode, it felt like an expansion pack with really silly dialogue and a very buggy online experience. Also I left GTA4 a long time ago as I got stuck on one mission with a helicopter that was so infuriating I had to stop playing. Going back to it on a clean slate was good and done it in one! After that I flew through the remaining few hours and completed it.

Over the weekend I had my second play through of Dead Space, this time on 360 rather than my recently sold PS3, and I enjoyed it just as much as I did the first time through with less noticeable slow down too.

This week was my final game I had not completed which was FEAR 2. It really was good with fantastic A.I. to fight against and really meaty combat with an interesting story topped onto it which surprised me. The only negative about the game was that it was quite short and I'm not going back to it, but I'll take quality over quantity any day.
