Just picked up Bayonetta on the cheap and not sure what to make of it at the moment. I don't have a clue what I'm doing but I keep playing.

Mushi futari and esp2 on my 360. esp2 was not my cup of tea til i played the novice version first, kinda getting the hang of the bullest and scoring system. mushi is superb. also playing a bit of darkstalkers now i have killed tiamat- who was a total bitch to kill.

Played through Planescape Torment over the last couple of weeks and finished it this week, then Bayonetta, and now I've started Bloodrayne. Which is, by the way, terrible, but I'm really enjoying all the ways I can cut Nazis into pieces without my swords coming anywhere near them... and, in some cases, while I'm facing away from them cutting up what should by all rights be empty air.

I thought Bloodrayne was pretty average, not quite terrible though. I had fun playing through the first time, but it left no lasting impression and there's no way I'd play it again.

Resistance: Fall O' Man and Nights Into Dreams this week.

Obviously late to the party but Resistance is just syooperb. Love how the story's told, and that Insomniac's expressive, cartoony animation has crept into the characters. I like how you just have to shoot the twisty-faced aliens with cool space weapons and there's nothing else to it. S'fun.

Nights is still amazing too.

Bad Company 2, I'm sad to say I think I'm finally tiring of it now, and back on Halo 3 for the first time in a long time, it's good to see it's still shoot first die first though.

I thought Bloodrayne was pretty average, not quite terrible though. I had fun playing through the first time, but it left no lasting impression and there's no way I'd play it again.

Now that I've finished it, I am going to upgrade my opinion from "terrible" - it really does pick up a bit about halfway through the Argentina section, it just takes a couple of hours to get to that point.

The PC version seems very "floaty" compared to the console version, making big fights tricky, but being able to run it in 1920x1200 with AA etc turned on made up a bit for the twitchy controls.

Think I'll give the sequel a try next; there's a patch that boosts the resolution and turns on all sort of nice shadow and water effects. Pretty neat what fans can turn out sometimes.

Metal Gear Solid 4. Can't believe I've owned a PS3 2 months and have only just got it. Probably because all the copies I've found used have been in ass condition.. but I lucked out eventually.

Finished up The Force Unleashed on Sith Master and ground out the last few trophies for the platinum (#8). Started Yakuza 3, and have been playing a little World of Warcraft here and there to try and maximise the new levelling experience that will come with Cataclysm.

This week it's just been Mafia 2, really been milking this out with 135 wanted posters left to collect. However, I really want to get started on Dead Rising: Case Zero and Crackdown 2 and need to pick up on Red Seeds Profile again so will likely do that this weekend to break up the poster hunting.
