What has everyone been playing this week?

This week it's been SSX, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, Mass Effect 3 and SFxT

Resistance 3 and D&D Online. D&D was surprisingly good fun with a couple of mates.

Just finished Final Fantasy XIII-2, so moved onto the MGS HD collection. Still playing Dragon Quest 8 as well.

Also playing Infamous: Festival of Blood download game which is proving fun.

Played a few hrs of Mass Effect 3 a couple of days ago but I'm just not in the mood for it at the moment . So I've gone back to playing Super Mario RPG instead going down the Midas River as usual

Started playing Fuel the other night and driving around trying to unlock locations I slowly realised that it's the biggest map on any game I have ever seen in my life.
After a google it says 5,560 square miles (14,400 km?) roughly the size of Connecticut WTF!? boggles the mind.

OK some how this game has managed to pass me by as I assumed it was just another Codemasters game along the same lines as Dirt and Grid. Looks alright from the videos I watched - like a mix of Burnout Paradise and Motorstorm. Have you been enjoying the game Fry?

That's been my lot the past week. Conan seems a little dull but I do enjoy hack n slash style games. Not too sure if I like it enough to do the distance though.

Just started Jak 3 probably my last last unplayed decent PS2 3D colourful platformer unless there is some hidden gem out there I've somehow missed.I enjoyed Jak 2 despite some of the snotty reviews and Jak 3 is proving good fun too.

Gameplay-wise - great variety and imagination. It is a quality production in every way with only the randomly mercurial camera control worth complaining about.

However, the main downer of the Jak series remains. Despite competent story telling, well written and well voiced dialogue in the cut-scenes the utterly cliched bratish Jak character has never been interesting or sympathetic. Daxter, his animal side kick, there for light relief, is rarely amusing, in fact more often he's very annoying. It is no coincidence that of the two similar franchises Ratchet & Clank has become the more loved and consequently the more successful.

A little bit of PGR3 which is undergoing something of a mini revival among those on my friends list. It still plays great too and reminds me of the good old days when playing it with clanmates was a daily routine.

A lot of Team Fortress 2 which still hasn't gotten boring.

And just started DoDonPachi Resurrection too which seems insanely difficult and better suited to demi-gods that human beings.

getting into hellgate london on the pc (the original release not the newer mmo type of redone) has a load of issue but does give me my loot collectin fix until diablo 3

Its not too bad BUT im taking it bit by bit cause it can get repetitive, there is a nice mixture of vehicles, atv, 3 wheeler buggys, dirt cars, trucks. All handle differently on and off road.
Best thing to do is whack mp3 player or some tunes on and drive around racing, been enjoying it for that reason.
I picked it up in hmv for ?4.95 pre Xmas so it was cheap enough for a gamble
