Great, knew I could play the age card as a good excuse (I was 24 then, enagaged and had a child, so had no spare time/cash).

Never seen it in any arcades I've been in in the last couple of years mind you, thought one of them in Southend would still have a machine kicking about.

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one, would have been 23 at the time and far too responsible, drunk, busy or just away to have had the chance to give it a go then.

Liking the look of that video, can't find any other videos of it though. Was there standard racing as well as the battle stuff?

That trailer looks fantastic and it really benefits from the 60fps. Hopefully this'll sell well so they'll o the same with other games too.

Heard of this but never got to play it as there's **** all arcades near me with anything worth playing, even since I was a kid.

Out of curiousity S0L how did this come about, as it's really out of left field (not unappreciated though).

Did you have a word in Konami's ear about how ace it would be or did Konami approach you? If it's the former, can you point out to Namco how awesome Rave Racer was and that it never got a home conversion either

how amazingly random but super ****ing awesome at the same time! loved this in the arcade back in the day.

So is this a PSN exclusive? would really love to see it on the 360 as thats the only machine i have out of the two.

If this is good - and a success, it will be send a positive message to Sega & Namco - that souped-up conversions of Daytona, Scud Race, Virtua Racing, Rave Racer, Cyber Cycles, Ace Driver etc.. are wanted by the hardcore.

I wonder how much MS daft XBLA limits (size ect) and check lists (all games must look better ect) also plays when corps look to bring games like this to either XBLA or PSN
