12 years as a coder in the games industry really ramps up your cynical streak...

I can think of a few ways they could block this if they wanted to. Some via title update on the game itself, others via the marketplace. Makes a nice theoretical exercise.

Whether they'll bother is another thing entirely.

It would probably cost them more in un-necessary man power to make the adjustments than it would to recoup the 'losses' of letting all the DLC go free.

So it seems that if buy a used copy of the game and want to access the Cerberus Network, they're going to charge you 1200 Points (so roughly £10) for access.

Ouch.

Very happy to hear that because I lost both my saves when my Xbox buggered up.

To go back to this, it seems the info I posted earlier is wrong. If you've lost your ME saves then it seems you're out of luck

Question though is DLC region free as it were? I mean will it work on the UK game when I come to get it? Reason I ask is I ordered the CE from Game, but also really wanted the Terminus Armour so ordered another copy from Play. Now I have the armour on my machine I could cancel the Play order which saves me cash and a lot of hassle etc... Thoughts?!

don't know about on the 360 but i would say definitely yes on the pc. I got all the promo items from various places for my asian dragon age
