The amount of stuff going on throughout is amazing. And I couldn't help but laugh when he used the Locust as a huma...erm I mean Locust Shield.

Loved the new sub machine gun too - imagine that'll come in handy.

That really looks amazing, I hope they hit a November release. The new chainsaw attacks look like they could bring an extra "track and field" dimention to the multiplayer too.

I knew it would be awesome Somehow it looks better (more detail) and the framerate doesn't seem as choppy? :S dunno how they pulled that off but the game looks great. Hope they haven't screwed around the controls much, it'll be hard to adjust after playing gears 1 multiplayer for so long.

That's the next thing that'll get shown isn't it? The multiplayer? If they've upgraded the singleplayer this much...i can't wait to see what they've done to the multi considering it's where the bulk of playtime was spent on their game!

They need to change Marcus armour, its too similair to the first. Otherwise, looking very good. Hopefully it'll have client side hit detection.

It's meant to not be long after Gears 1, most of their resources will be on staying alive, not marcus being up on the latest fashions + he's memorable with that armour, just like master chief is with his. (Unless they changed his- i couldn't tell anyway).

I agree with the client side hit detection though

Can't say that seems necessary - unless there's a reason to change the armour (more powerful Locust ammo for example).
