All these 3 combined would be amazing. Still Call Of Duty is awesome.
yep, a lot of the biggest battles of WW2 are still left untold. Charkow, Kursk, Monte Cassino, Kreta for instance - and it's not hard to guess why.

but Hiroshima? let's add Dresden and you've got the stage set for the ultimate "let's try killing civilians to end the war" bombing game. not exactly what i would call a proper setting for a FPS.

This was debunked by IW... link

I hope they don't take the p90 out as suggested by the tester, I loved the p90!!!

Me too. If any SMGs get binned, it should be the Skorpion or Mini Uzi.

I also like using the G3 and M21 in Hardcore modes, so I hope that's bull**** about them.

              First teaser http://modernwarfare2.infinityward.com/

Don't expect any ingame footage, but regardless that is a very slick piece of work.

Anyone know if that's the UK date (11th October) or the American date (10th November)?

edit: never mind, just read elsewhere that it's 10th November.

If it's even a tiny bit, pubic hair size good as the first modern warfare, gimme!

Apparently Call of Duty has been dropped from the title as well. Surprised Activision would allow that - surely that's not using their full milking capacity?

I was really hoping that the trailer was going to have in game footage, alas it was not to be.

                      11th October 2009. Can't wait.

Perhaps someone realised how crass it is to be using words like 'duty' in the context of killing generic non-American ethnic badmen in thinly-veiled 'imaginary' conflicts?

Or maybe Infinity Ward just want to distance themselves from the over-done WWII setting and the pump knock-offs Treyarch made under their name?

Hopefully they haven't dropped the Call of Duty franchise name. Given it's current weight as a marketing title it'd seem pointless to do beyond being another instance of spitting out their dummy in regards to trying to distance themselves from COD5.

Activision should force them to keep it out of sheer business reasoning.

I imagine it's because Modern Warfare 2 slips off the tongue better than Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2 or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

                                *Deep breath!*
