I'm being pig headed I know, but I refuse to pay the outrageous prices MS charge for their HDDs.

The RRP of the hard drives are too high.
However, AFAIK the reliability of the drives is fine (unlike the rest of the 360). What thsi means is that you could buy one second hand or from Ebay. This seller is selling one for just over ?60 new, which doesn't seem too bad.

Given the quite large precense of GT at E3, i'm beginning to think someone from Sony has popped round to Polyphony to tell them to pull their finger out.

nice shots, even though they are from the photo mode and not from the racing gameplay.
well, if there's a 24h race in Forza 3 then it has to feature a day-night-time cycle, otherwise it was not authentic.
i believe that they just have licensed tracks in and there wont be a simulated 24h race.

Microsoft has confirmed the inclusion of notorious and prestigious endurance race 24 Hours of Le Mans in Forza Motorspo…
According to Eurogamer it's the Le Mans track and the full race with multi class rules too. I'd imagine day to night cycles must be included in that. Hope it's true!
24 hour racing on the ring or around spa (fingers crossed) would be awesome too.

If they do include a full night and day cycle then that's one more reason not to buy GT5.
I really hope they make this one on par or better than Polythony's efforts. In the past it's always felt like Turn 10 are 1 step behind constantly in terms of the amount of tracks, cars, career mode etc. But hopefully with the new in car view, over 300 cars and 100 tracks this will be too good to stop me from spending £300 on a PS3 just for GT5.
Let's just hope those 100 tracks aren't all Snake Canyon variants though...
