    Forza 3

    "After Turn 10 announced it is working on their "Next Big Thing," a development partner has accidentally confirmed they are both working on the third installment in the Forza Motorsport series.

    Forza Central found out that Kaarbo Design, the company that created many graphics for the original Forza Motorsport, listed Forza 3 as one of the titles it has worked on.

    Although the Forza 3 entry has been removed from the Kaarbo Design web site, it was online long enough for Forza Central to find it and take and screen shot. Click here to watch the undeniable evidence."

    There's not much infomation avaliable but it appears that Turn 10 have it in development. Possible showing at E3?

    Not a big surprise, since it was leaked a while back as some kind of focus group thing. It's good to get some more solid confirmation mind. Fingers crossed it'll be as good as the last one.

      I really hope we will see it already around xmass 2009 ! probably GT5 will be released around xmass 2009 I guess Forza3 will up and running around the same time.
      Forza2 is easily my most played 360 game, and I still play it alot, but I'm also ready for something new...

      Physics are already incredible with Forza2, online community is excellent, the amount of cars is also good but what I would like to see for Forza3 is;
      * more tracks (Spa, Donnington, Monza etc etc)
      * stable online lobbies
      * changing weather conditions
      * more choice of harder and softer racing tyres for endurance races
      * to be able to choose the amount of fuel for the endurance races

        It'll be interesting to see whether the 100 tracks, 400 cars on 2 discs rumour is fact. Hopefully this'll be out in 2009 and help to prop up 360s lacklustre exclusive line up.

          If this has one single feature, I hope it's the ability to transfer your art from Forza 2.

            Please let this have some hillclimb/downhill events like Forza1. I miss those so much. I went back and played them recently and they really are top.

              I saw this title, and had to post a message, even though I've got nothing to say

              The improvements Force posted are exactly the same as I would like, only addition would be being able to download any setup on the leaderboards, rather than people being able to lock them.

              This comes from me being absolutely useless at tuning a car - I can set good lap times, but there are some geniuses out there at setting up cars, I ain't one of them unfortunately.

              Hopefully this comes out in 2009 sometime, in the meantime I just know I'll still be playing Forza 2.

                It's also the time investment in tuning. You have to do countless laps to ensure consistency with each change. I gave up on that after crammonds GP2. Life's too short.

                  Yep, those were great on Forza1 and bring back Rio, that was an excellent track !
                  We need atleast 1 or 2 street tracks !

                  yep, same here... I did learn some things about what to change about the set up's, but I just don't have the patience to try it all out.

                  one more thing, even how realistic Forza feels, some of the set ups which are fastest just don't seem realistic to me. you see a lot of the fast ones driving cars and they use only 3 gears ?!?! (like the Corvette R2) that's impossible, in real life it would never be as fast as using the normal 6 gears..
                  stuff like this should be looked at.

                        Try WRC or the old Colin McRae games for that !

                          If its half as good as GTR II on the PC, then I'll be happy . Not many make a better racer than Simbin

                            I don't enjoy the Forza series as much as PGR or even Gran Turismo but the uphill and downhill events in the original Forza on the Xbox were utterly superb, and why they were all but removed from the sequel is beyond me.

                              agree, but let's not forget:

                              - track: Les Mans
                              - adjustable weather and day/night time settings
                              - changing track conditions (like on the nordschleife for instance)
                              - better and more authentic car sound fx - i want my turbos whistle again
                              - more believable, hence less perfect line-like AI
                              - soundtrack title selection
                              - time speed up-option for endurance races
                              - a reasonable cockpit view
