The UFB alone is an £85 item, which won't support PS5 without an adapter or add on board.
It is? Bloody hell that's shot up in price. I'm sure when I got mine it was around 5000 yen

Solid metal case, heafty weight and full Sanwa part all running via a Brook Universal Fighting Board. You can get Brook adapters that will allow this stick to work on anything if it doesn't naturally.
Putting aside the beautiful setup, I love how that brown speaker looks like someone watching over your shoulder just like in a real arcade

Lol, I'd never thought about it that way but now that you mention it I'll be paranoid of the speaker from now on

That is a lovely setup. I'm a little envious as I'd love a dedicated space for a setup.

You're not wrong about custom sticks being great and when I looked to build another recently I was shocked to see how hard the Brook boards have jumped in price since I purchased the last one.

Damn, the Astro City design gets me every time. Don't know why, but I just love it. Any stick I get I try and at least get some neon pink/green buttons and ball tops to give me some Astro City flavour

It's a classic line that will never die. Right up there with the Mega Drive High Definition Graphics text

Pulled out the sticks this morning to try sf6 demo on the pc and the te stick worked perfectly but the brook stick just wouldn't play ball, maybe it's time to strip it down check everything and build another custom stick....

Might be worth trying a firmware update/checking it is in xinput mode.

I'll try again later with the firmware update, the update launcher wouldn't see the stick even though Windows USB controllers identified it as xbox one controller but didn't detect inputs from it.
As a work around I put it into xbox 360 mode and it worked, but I didn't try the firmware updater at that point, kids got in the way with the dad can I have a go.....

I can't wait to say "No! Not until I've updated the Brook PCB's firmware!" to my son

As of yesterday the GP2040-CE code for the Pi Pico supports PS4. Just given it a test now and it works perfectly. Very cost effective solution.
