Thanks for the link, Holio.
I've just given it a shot, even if it is £20 more. If I get it I'll just get rid of my SE stick. Hopefully they didn't muddle things up and are actually selling the SE sticks for those prices!
Also, about the price 'hike', they seem to think the RRPs for the 360 and PS3 sticks are £130 and £110, so both of their sticks have 'save £20' on them.Last edited by randombs; 13-04-2009, 09:23.

I was showing the link to that SoftUK site to a mate and they're now showing the regular SE sticks at the same prices as the TE sticks this morning with the same stock messages (out of stock for 360, in stock for ps3).
I just checked my order status and it still says Tournament Edition, and that the order is pending.
I'm gonna ring them in the morning and double-check. I've saved the order status on my PC in case something goes tits-up as we've bought it assuming it's the TE stick (heck, if we wanted SE's, Amazon has the them for £70 in stock anyway).
Hopefully it wasn't a cock-up and they've simply sold off the TE's and replaced them with SE's, but seeing as the 360 SE's are also saying out of stock and PS3 SE's as in stock (as was the case this morning when they were showing as TE's), I'm not holding out much hope, to be honest

Got home to try out my SE stick and it wasn't as bad I'd started to think it was going to be.
So far I've had no problems with the joystick sticking like some people have mentioned, however my hard kick button sort of sticks/clicks a little which is a bit annoying.
I'm thinking of trying out some Sanwa parts but I don't really know where to start, anyone able to point me in the right direction?

There's also a European site
Which has the same sort of stuff.
Gremlin's a bit expensive, though - my Sanwa stick and eight replacement buttons came to £43 including p&p, although they did throw in an extra bubbly balltop in for free which was nice (they also did that last year when I ordered a balltop and buttons for my Dreamcast stick).
Glad you like it stock at least, you should be ok with it in that case.

No probs. The bits you need are:
OBSF-30 buttons
JLF-TP-8YT Joystick
It's a straight swap-out for the buttons and stick, all you need is a screwdriver and a little knife to cut some glue that's on the joystick wire connector, and that's it!
