What colour buttons did you go for?
I'll have to post a picture when my wife comes back from her weekend away with our digital camera!

I went for dark grey OBSF-30s with the black surrounds and pure white OBSF-24s for the Start and Select buttons, with a dark grey meshball for the LS-56-01. I'm not really into the idea of having custom artwork for this stick as I like the existing plate. It's changed the whole character of the stick, though- it has a nice simplicity about it and the buttons are so sensitive that I nearly cancelled out of a system update because I lightly brushed the circle button with my little finger.

The turbo switches are still green, though- I'll probably remove them from that little unit and give them a spray with some black Krylon Fusion if/when I get my hands on some. I could probably buy a custom plate that omits the turbo switches entirely but I'm not keen on removing functionality from the stick.

There's a Hori Ex 2 stick going for £40 in the local CEX.

It's got a slightly tatty box and it's a little grubby, but is it worth a purchase?

I've got my eye on Tekken in the coming weeks...

They're going for 50 on amazon new, so you pays your money...

I wouldn't buy it at that price. For a bit more you can get a Madcatz Fightstick which has a Sanwa, alone worth about ?18. The Sanwa as a stick would be a big big improvement over the default Hori. Also, the Fightstick would give you options should you wish to change the buttons to Sanwa as well.

Has anyone seen Madcatz Round 2 sticks in the UK? They've been showing up in the US for a couple of weeks. I know there are few guys here who work in retail, please share any info.

Better late than never, I suppose. Getting the correct painting technique for the turbo switches on this took a little while- a bit silly considering how small they are but I wanted them to be just right. In the end I purchased some Krylon Fusion but found that it wore just a bit too easily, so I ended up using black vinyl dye and a clear lacquer spray. They produced surprisingly durable results.

It's a simple little job but I like the overall look of it- much better than the garish green of the stock parts.

tek-innovations.com overlay and plexi, bezel coloured with vinyl dye, all Seimitsu parts except the meshball. I put yellow start/back buttons on too (those are a ****er to get out).

Could anyone please tell me which Seimitsu buttons are the same size as Sanwa obsf30's?
                        Thanks.

                          PS-14-G (Solid colours)
                          PS-14-K (Transparent)
                          PS-14-P (Pearl finish)

                          If there's a letter N in the part number (eg: PS-14-KN), they're screw-ins.

What's the deal with HORI 360 sticks nowadays? I'm thinking I'll prolly be alright with an SF4 pad, but I wouldn't mind checking out what is on offer. There seems to be a lot of choice. I prefer Seimitsu parts (even for fighters).
                              Kept you waiting, huh?

The only Hori 360 stick that's full Seimitsu (I believe) is the HRAP-EX SE, that's nice & cheap if you live in the states & expensive in Blighty.

The new Mushishihimihimimihimihimiemasama stick has a Seimitsu stick but standard Hori buttons, & the standard HRAP EX has a Sanwa stick & Hori buttons.
