Yeah you're both probably right heart ruling head on this I think.
I have changed my mind so many times this week from buying an arcade machine to a Supergun and now Mame! It's driving me mad.
My number 1 choice would obviously be the cab but not sure I can fit it in my games room and the rest of the house is off limits lol.

I'm thinking of getting one and a small PC for running Mame in my games room, any opinions on this would be welcome.
As would how you think Mame would look on a 40inch Sony LCD TV, would the best way to hook up the PC be DVI to HDMI?Originally posted by speedlolita View PostX-Arcade suck, basically.
PS3 TE are like £80 new.
i have one (twin version) and its the jangles! picked it up for £90, with the xbox and pc connections, and it feels great especially with mortal kombat and street fighter.
i dont have room for a cab, so basically doing what your wanting to do. but on a pc monitor not an lcd tv.
and speedlolita, have you got/had/used one? i cant fault mine.

With all the first-wave Madcatz sticks seeing big discounts lately I figured this deserves a bump. I've had a stock TE stick since launch and am a big fan, but have just grabbed an SE stick that I plan to mod. As such, a couple of questions;
Is it the LS32 or L32-01 that will fit this, or would both?
All the US sites I've seen recommend going to a Kinkos to get yourself sticky vinyly printed jazz to replace the art - anyone know of places in the UK that do the same?
Does anyone know a good resource for designs for the SE/TE fightsticks? I quite fancy something discrete after seeing this little beauty and ideally it'd be more shooter than fighter related since that's what I'm hoping to use it for.
If anyone can help with any of the above I will love you forever. Or alternatively reply to the thread saying "thanks".

Has anybody seen anywhere in the UK that's stocking the new "S" tournament sticks? They're out in the US, but the only place I can find listing them here is the Gameshark shop where they're very expensive and out of stock anyway.

Every review I've read of the X-Arcade sticks is glowing. I wonder why so many people here say they're no good?Last edited by Brad; 24-03-2010, 11:19.
