Events take place 3 Years after first, apparently Isaac is a wee bit loopy and traumatized kinda battling with his own mind and memories, could be good if done well.
The screenshots/scans look incredible though.

I like the sound of the more free floating zero gravity bits. I also like the idea of being at ground zero when the infection starts - Extraction did a very good job of that.

Nolan North would be wrong. He's great in Drake, but this game doesn't need that kind of personality in the lead - if I hear a murmur of Isaac quipping I'm OUT!

I think the first game suffered through the lack of voice, not only because it's third person so it's that much harder for you to assume the identity of the avatar, but with so little feedback it was really hard to push any kind of emotional engagement with Nicola.

If done right it could work, but for me they have to be very careful so as not to ruin the incredible atmosphere of the game. I'm thinking someone like Michael Ironside might work.

Talk of a tie in game called Planet Cracker, to arrive on the XBLA / PSN in the same style as Fable II's Pub Games

Also talk of a HD remake of Dead Space Extraction for PSN / XBLA.

EA's fiscal year bore-report mentioned Dead Space 2 is on for a release this Q4. Happy days indeed, all we need now is a Mirrors Edge sequel and i'll be well happy.
