Don't know what Nintendo are playing at with these staggered releases - I was hoping that as this gen progressed, we'd see the end of that nonsense, or at least region freedom for our discs (for all consoles.) Maybe next gen, eh?

The trouble Nintendo have with staggered releases is the ease of piracy for their consoles. Lots of people will give into temptation

US release has been knocked back to the end of August, so there's only a few days in it.

I can't help but shake the feeling that this looks incredibly mediocre. "Run in the direction you want to shoot" is rarely fun, especially with d-pad controls.

I played this, it's awesome. I was never a great fan of the 'next gen' Metroid games, but it's good fun!

I wasn't sold on this game, but this video looks rather tasty. It's Super Metroid with a Z-axis.
