Joyride, a racing game, lets players use their hands to hold an imaginary steering wheel ? pull your hands toward you and push back out for an acceleration boost and their bodies to execute jumps and tricks.

I'd been quite looking forward to this, it was announced around the same time as ModNation Racers and they both looked like decent kart games.

I really don't like the name but that's fairly standard for stuff with doesn't something a bit different with the name. I hated the names iPod & Wii at first because they the felt alien a bit like Nadsat does.

Don't even think about the names now, they just seem so natural as I've become accustomed to them. I'm sure it'll happen in time with this too.

I do question the combination of this name and the fairly industrial look of the new 360 if they're really wanting the casual market to bite though.

The Cirque de Sole stuff sounds crazy and I am interested in seeing it just for the performances.
