Is this not all the same stuff that had our Wiis gathering dust lost somewhere behind our telly? If anything, this will all be good for Nintendo. They built a market for motion control from nothing and, as such, will likely be considered market leaders for quite some time. This and Sony's effort may well expand that market but I think much of that business will still end up going to the Wii as the message seems very much to be - Nintendo got it right, you should want this.

Kinectimals is nothing to do with Lionhead, I'm sure Milo is still trapped in Kinect hell and you will see him again one day to help him whilst terrifying us all.

Remember this is not ALL kids/parents but I have seen some crackers spending ?400+ on Wii like it was pocket money. I want, I want, I want and the wallets actually come out
Nintendo Wii firmly established as a brand, all Nintendo would need to do today is announce a Wii 2/Wii Hi-Fi with backwards compatibility, connects online and hooks upto HD TV and Kinect and Move would have some issues.
Only thing possibly saving Kinect is new tech for console use just as people are getting used to pointers/wii motes, this takes away the need for that.
One thing we all know for sure is MS will market the S*** out of Kinect holidaly/xmas season, if they can spend (stupid) millions on Circ/MTV we all know they will not be afraid to spend making everyone (on earth) know what Kinect is.
