You're so bias towards MS, that they could bring out a new Breezeblock 360 add on and you'll no doubt praise it- A lovely door stop, just what I needed.

Child of Eden may well be crazy and who knows what the likes of Platinum game or Kojima could think up for it.

I bet when it come to scoring and playing Children of Eden the Pad will be better, never mind that Eden is also coming out for the PS3, so it's hardly a game only natal can do. Kojima-san games I have little interest in, given they more like films than games, Platinum games play fine enough as it is with a Pad as it is, not that any of thier games lend them self's to motion controls - playing Madworld after a while was a pain in the ass

Whatever your thoughts on the Wii may be, there is no denying there are some real gems of gamess that make fantastic use of the motion control

What little Wii games they are work playing, to me would be better off playing with a normal standard pad. I don't mind party games or motion control games, like Buzz, Samba Rock Band, Get Bass, Eye Toy ECT, but they are separate and not the main focus . Trouble is , this now seems to be MS soul focus and where it's spending all its money and efforts, because its line up for the CORE gamer (in terms of games only on 360) was completely lacking for E3 and this years Tokyo Game Show.


You might want MS to follow NCL lead meaning piss poor tech, months and months before any decent game, friends codes , just being a complete joke online and completely Turing your back on the core gamers , Yes that's great for the causals (who just buy 1 or 2 games a year) not so great for the more dictated gamer .

Its like MS is spending more money on Natal, that what it will for the 720 in terms of R&D and games. Fine if its the NCL model you want, the 720 will be nothing more than a 360 speed up a bit, with motion controls built in. If that the case, it looks like only SONY will cater to the CORE gamer in terms of Tech and In-House support for games

this afternoon we will be rearranging the furniture in the lounge because I only had 7ft from the TV in the current set-up.

I hope the new layout meets the other halfs approval otherwise it could be pre order cancelled.

space requirements seem crazy and I think a lot of purchase will be returned due to lack of space.

If it is just because the sensor needs to see your feet why not allow it to be mounted higher above the TV?

Not the best test area but HMV has this set up today to try and pull in the punters which isn't the best way to see it going as there's so much background traffic. The guy who was doing the demo was putting his all into it though in usual style mis-selling it. A family stopped by and it quickly won over the kids, each eager to have a go. He had to keep moving them back a bit so it would keep tracking them though the bar was below screen so might not have been in the best place. The impression is that Kinect can sell itself, it just can't sell to people who don't already have a 360 making the price hike too much to swallow.

Software wise they were demo'ing Kinect Adventures which certainly isn't 1:1 but wasn't so bad that it would stop it being unplayable. Largely the lag seemed within Wii timing. A guy around 40 stepped up and seemed a bit unsold on the game, the store guy told him that Kinect would allow him to feel moe 'in the game' being able to physically run through the streets in Assassins Creed... yep, the guy quickly moved on to. Maybe it'll be the shops that hinder Kinect rather than lag/price/space/Black Ops

Probably not, as they are sent via courier (and will require signatures) while CoD's did not AFAIK.

The tracking number GAME has given me is still not tracking, and states day before release the tracking number will start working. Sadly, we won't be getting them until release date.

I'm still on the fence about it, i've never play any of these motion game things on any console but it's making me think I should buy one. Thought Kinectimals was really cute (in a manly way *ahem*) and Dance Central looks a reet laugh but ?130 is a fair bit of money for it so will have to see peeps opinions about it over the next few weeks
