The "basic" game is very similar. New stuff is the team system, and the cars are infinitely customisable. You can have up to three units attached at any one time.

Until all of the DLC is out and the game is complete, it's hard to pass judgement on it.

So that 10 cars and 6 tracks and some music for 15 quid, with another 3 tracks at 6 quid, not sure if its value, gut the original i guess was 40 on PS1 and we all went crazy for it? Yes?

I'm gonna stick with my order I think, with the first DLC being free it makes it PSN release levels content to price wise which I can deal with. I'll see how I go before deciding on the second DLC though as one thing the Vita isn't short on is racers so Ridge might not last anyway.

Been to HMV and they sorted out my preorder no trouble thankfully so that's another game down. I'd already paid off ?38 of it so I've switched the credit over to cover Mass Effect 3. Awesome.

Really looking forward to unit 13, had a quick go on a demo at GAME, reminded me of the psp socom games, which I loved.

Put my vita on my uk PSN account last night and transferred over Ghost of Sparta, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, WTF! And Monsters (probably) stole my princess. They all look great on the vita's screen, especially the two mini's. Tried to put Valkyria Chronicles 2 on there as well, but the vita didn't recognise it in the transfer list.

I was wrongly under the impression that all PSP games would just work on the Vita :-(

Unit 13 is by Zipper so it's no surprise it reminds you of socom! I also loved the PSP socom games.

Ah that explains that then , just a shame unit 13 isn't a launch title as I want it now, Ninja Gaiden Sigma + will hopefully keep me going until then.

I was hoping that everything on the store would be compatible right from the off, then I could put all my faves on the vita leaving the psp free for the kids. Alas I'm sure there are reasons... That best be sorted quickly, I want VC2 on my vita.

Unit 13 is top of my list for Vita games. My friend already has the full game, and from what I've played of it, it's right up my street.

Lucky bugger, I presume it was the full game I tried in GAME, nothing seemed to be blocked out, but I didn't get a chance to try anything other than single player as there was a long queue behind me and the misuses was getting impatient.
