PSVita (Successor to PSP, was PSP2 then NGP)

So, I downloaded my PSP games to the PS3 and connected my Vita to the PS3. Loaded Content Manager and selected "Conncted to PS3 System". I then chose copy from PS3 to PSVita and the uninstalled games should be in Apps PSP/Other.

Check the boxes of what you want and click copy. I think I've remembered right.

Few websites say you can download PSP games directly from PSN to Vita, here a list of all the games, but im buying none of the games i own on UMD, Sony's lost out on lots of money off me, as most think UMD passport aint coming here.http://www.computerandvideogames.com...ble-psp-games/

It's already been confirmed that there are a load more that aren't on that list that do actually work if you transfer them to you Vita rather than DL them directly to it... Apparently Vice City is one of em, and more importantly, so is Valkyria Chronicles.

Okay folks, apologies if this has been asked a hundred times already, but I'm in a bit of a quandry here:

I have a US PS3, which I bought around the US launch. Because of this, I've always had a US PSN ID (since the UK PSN wasn't up when I first bought mine), and I have spare IDs for other regions for demos and stuff. Wherever I've had a game from a region other than the US that I've wanted DLC for, I've just bought the DLC with an account from the same region as the game, but continued to play on my US PSN ID. Is this going to work with the Vita? Only really concerned because I'm buying Ridge Racer at launch (I wasn't until I read J0e's comments, so cheers for that :P ), and I want any future DLC to actually work with it. :P

Am I going to be able to continue using my US PSN ID for everything if I'm buying UK Vita games? Or will I have to either a) Buy all of my Vita games from the US or b) Start using a UK PSN ID on my PS3?

Wow nice didn't know you could do that. I guess there is no way to take them off the UMDs. You just have to have downloaded versions. Cool feature all the same. Would love Power Stone on a Vita. Need Sony to make more PSP downloads available.

On a separate note went into the local Game to take a look at the PS Vita. Demo unit not on display! Even though they have a big sign outside. Just wanted to see the screen. And they wonder why they are not enticing people to buy one.

Valkyria Chronicles wouldn't show up in my transfer list, but I have seen it mentioned elsewhere that it does work, think I'll download it again and try again. *crosses fingers*

Keithy me boy, as I understand it, the ps3 lets you use other users content as long as the profile that downloaded it remains on the console, with the vita being one profile at a time it is not looking good. I suppose it will depend on if the DLC is locked so it will only work with a game of the same region or not.

That would depend on how much you love your trophies.

I've just got Gran Turismo and several mini's that aren't on the 1st list to work on my vita, just downloading Valkyria Chronicles again, really hope it works this time.

I used to use a us psn I'd with loads of rock band dlc best thing I ever do was Ditch it to a uk one eventually it does save you money and effort tbh especially as dlc an online passes seem to be in everything now

Keith i'd ditch the US PSN ID, games are going to cost you more, i guess your importing them, and DLC must be costing you more on cards?, unless you got a CC tied to your US PSN account?
