Sony's idea of which "PS Classics" people want is really weird. A Buzz light year game?
I Was looking at the PS2 games that they have up on PSN the other day, there are about 100 of them and about half of those are third rate sport games that were never even very good upon release, and most of the other half is made up of cheaply knocked out kids titles. What's the point?
Do they think we don't want the games that actually are classics?

I have played the demo of the game which is a gravure level, and I thought it was wicked. Every Monkey Ball since the first one has been a disappointment but to be fair the design of the demo level is fiendish.
It's up on the Japanese store, everyone should give it a try.
J0e I don't know how you can say there are tons of great games on the Vita. The launch lineup was definitely really strong, but that was ages ago! And it's full games I'm talking about, not apps. I get enough of those on iOS. So far this year we've had Wipeout 2048 (Jan), Unit 13 (Feb) - not my cup of tea but I can see a lot of people liking it - and Disgaea 3 this month. And that's it pretty much unless you like playing RPGs in Japanese.
I've been thinking about getting @field just to fill the gap. It looks fun but I have no idea if it's any good at all. At least it's only 3000 yen.
If Monkey Ball were available now it'd be a pretty much guaranteed purchase for me, just based on the dearth of games available. But it's out in June, when EVERYTHING seems to be coming out for Vita.

The Vita is basically going through the same post-launch software drought that the 3DS went though - and everyone was saying the 3DS was dead in the water, yet current sales would contradict this. It is a natural thing - developers either rush to get their games into the launch window, or they take a little bit more time, hence the lack of post-launch software.
The software will come, although I find it a little hard to recommend a Vita at the moment. The 3DS is coming into its own right now in terms of quality software and decent sales. But things will balance out and we'll have two great handhelds with great lineups selling well. I must be alone in thinking that this is a good thing.

The Vita has completely passed me by. I've been in loads of shops selling Vita wares, yet have still NOT been able to have a go at a unit. I've been to London (Oxford St.), Bluewater and any local specialist game shops, such as GAME, GAMEPLAY, BlockBusters, Argos you name it.
Sony, I'm not (and I suspect many like me) are going to shell out the initial ?200 on a Vita if we can't have a go of it first. Please learn this FFS!
For this very reason I already think its been a bit of a flop. Reports of a crap European online service don't paint things in a good light either (the PSN Stores accross regions are a bit of a mess)

It's not like he's going to say he thinks it's the next big thing. Personally, I think they both have the exact same problem right now - loads of potential, some really good software but not nearly enough and none coming quick enough either. I do think the Vita has great potential and it does a massive amount of things right for me as a system but potential means little without the actual games to realise that potential.
Just got Mortal Kombat this morning though. Disappointingly rough graphics but seems like a really good game.

I don't think the Vita is lacking in software, comparably to other systems launches it has an abundance. I think the problem is more Sony suffering from a confidence knock and not knowing how to market their products any more. This is an issue which is beyond the Vita itself, but its a great system and the people who turn their noses up at it are missing out.
