It did. The PSP never got credit for the amount of great games on the system and it clearly sold a serious amount of hardware units. That said, even with some excellent heavy-hitters, I don't think it truly realised its potential software-wise and it would be a massive shame if the Vita also didn't, given how good the hardware is. At this point in the machine's life, the E3 showing seems to have been really poor IMO. I don't think it's about to die but I do find the lack of a hard push to be worrying and somewhat baffling.

The Vita is awesome, the only downside for me was the cost of the memory card after forking out for the machine. I've still got loads of games to play and complete on mine, so hopefully by the time I have done that, in between playing games on my main consoles, some new games come out.

I think I watched a different conference to everyone else, to be honest. Assassin's Creed III, Black Ops, Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, Little Big Planet, PS1 classics, PS Plus and cross-platform play is more Vita stuff than I was expecting to see at the conference.

Did they announce any PS Plus features for Vita?

The games you mentioned are all ports or versions of full console games, and while some people might prefer them on a handheld, I'd much rather play them on the big screen. Some new games for the Vita please.

Im not the biggest earth defense force fan, but unlike virtually every other vita game it is a game that I can see actually working better on a handheld than on a home console.

Probably more Tescos and Morrison's choice than anything else. Our Local Tescos has a massive section for Vita.

No **** sherlock ... doesn't take a genius to work that one out! It does make you wonder what goes through the minds of the plebs running these businesses.

Personally I don't have an issue with the price of the Vita, Memory cards though is another matter as that is just pure profiteering on Sony's part though. We should be used to it by now though, they have the same thing on every machine they have done that needs MC's since the PS1. PS1 MC's were hidiously expensive at the time from what I can remember. Shocking really.

A price cut would be nice, what would be better though is some games I actually want.
