    Oh yeah, for sure.

Yeah, but remember how quickly Sony dropped PS2 bc on the PS3? I give PSP on Vita 6 months before it's quietly sidelined.

Why would they drop it when they can make money off of PSN?

I thought Sony confirmed all 600 psp titles would eventually be available to download? How many titles are on the psn? I'm not on it so I have no idea? Anyhow intrest in PSV is super high in SuperDans house of late

You guys do understand how the external battery pack works right?
            Kept you waiting, huh?

No, not really. Some kind of chemical reaction?

Edit: If I was to guess just off the top of my head, I'd say during discharge, lithium ions Li+ carry the current from the negative to the positive electrode, through the non-aqueous electrolyte and separator diaphragm. During charging, an external electrical power source (the charging circuit) applies a higher voltage (but of the same polarity) than that produced by the battery, forcing the current to pass in the reverse direction. The lithium ions then migrate from the positive to the negative electrode, where they become embedded in the porous electrode material in a process known as intercalation. Something along those lines anyway but, really, it's a total guess.

Good try Dogg, but according to Sony, its actually magic. That's why it's so expensive.

Magic was going to be my next guess.

You seem to be implying that one or more of us have made statements about the external battery pack that are wrong / make no sense so why don't you enlighten us? In my mind it's a battery pack; it's external and it probably plugs into whatever the normal PSVita charger cable plugs into.

Don't see what the fuss with power/external batteries is about. There are already many USB batteries on the market with varying capacities which will be compatible with a Vita=>USB cable.

Never really looked at this before but just seen a video of Uncharted and it looks amazing!

                        Do want.

                          What the heff?
Disgaea is priced at 6090 yen, are they serious?

Square have just announced pricing for Army Corps of Hell, 4980 yen for boxed product and 3990 yen for digital version.
First glimpse of how much the games could cost.
Oh and the 3g will be capped at 20mb, now there is a surprise. Anything larger will require WiFi of course.

6090yen is $100 here, or 50 quid... That's one game I'm not buying.

We don't even have any market for used games here, the government doesn't approve of that kind of thing.

The 3990 seems a good price for a digital version. It's about the same price as a CD&DVD album from Japan. I'm sure we will have a ?34.99 retail price for games and probably ?24.99-?29.99 download. (Probably leaning towards the latter)

WTF? Where the heck do you live, some kind of alternate 1980s Soviet Russia that uses US dollars?

                                EDIT:
Checked your profile, and it says Singapore. Bloody heck, I had no idea any country in the world disapproved of second hand sales.
