I'm pretty sure the preorder packs don't come with a memory card, unless I've missed something. In fact, the contents of the preorder pack seem completely useless bar the nice-looking earphones.

Glad I made the decision I did in regards to the PSN Network and using a UK account then.
Is there any word on if this pre-order pack is available everywhere or only at select retailers?
Still baffles me we are about 2 months from launch and no RRP's for the UK have been announced for games or peripherals.

Sony have uploaded a digital version of the Vita manual
PSVita Manual
Seems to confirm in the settings that the JPN version can be switched to English language like PSP & PS3.

Total rubbish Sony, so i buy your games, you make money but i can only play them on one account, this is just asking for CFW to happen, this is getting as bad as Appe telling you how many times and what systems your music you buy can go on, that why i like Google/Android , and Creative MP3 players, please Sony dont become another Apple , or you could lose sales through this, and 3DS region lock sucks too.Customers aren't criminals, so stop treating us like them, the bloody pirates have caused this.

Waiting for CFW on this.

I think we all agree that piracy is a major problem, but I'm not convinced it 'kills' consoles. In most cases where piracy is cited as causing the death of a console, there are actually much more fundimental causes for the console's unpopularity e.g. the Dreamcast, to a lesser extent the PSP.

The PSP was popular though. It shifted a serious amount of units. And yet many multi format games avoided the system and many devs seemed to abandon it. I imagine that was at least in part due to the fact that a huge chunk of those units sold only ran pirate games and so never contributed to software sales.
Edit: not sure how accurate or current this list is but, according to a list of best selling consoles on Wikipedia, the PSP has shifted over 70million units while the DC sold about 10million. The PSP seemed far from unpopular, expect with devs and publishers who likely didn't like their games being out there for free so easily - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._game_consolesLast edited by Dogg Thang; 18-12-2011, 11:53.
