Do you buy LTD editions, boxed sets, steelbooks etc?

My girlfriend pre-ordered me Zelda Spirit Tracks tin from Game a month ago too, and guess what they don't have any left at my local branch either. WTF is the point of preordering with these tossers?? :-(

The female at the Ayr branch is a vile, nippy little whore as well, which didn't help my gf's rage levels. She's on the phone to head office now to kick up a stink, after tearing 2 or 3 members of staff a new one at the store.

Also, have you not seen the US version of Metroid Prime Trilogy? Correct me if I'm wrong on this too, but the Club Nintendo Game & Watch Collection DS games aren't exactly common, are they?

ok not that it really helps the situation at all, but the us mp3 trilogy isn't really a limited edition as it is the only edition. not to say it isn't nice, i felt ripped off when we just got a bit of cardboard. same with the club nintendo games, not limited editions in the traditional sense. I would love to know if it is a nintendo special edition though as like i said earlier, i love me my limited tins and whatnot.

and back to perorder fails, eb games just recently canceled both my muramasa and a boy and his blob preorders, saying that they didn't come out over here (which I know for a fact they did despite shipping in very very limited quantities) though thats not so bad as I can readily pick up copies online.

anyway, I'd unleash some of the rage on a GAME higher up, never know it may get you somewhere.

I was in GAME yesterday and overheard the same situation youve had. However working in retail myself if a customer is impolite and i speak for more than just myself i feel when i say im simply more awkward and provide less helpfull customer service. Kicking up a fuss doesnt really get you anywhere as its not really the salesman/womens fault its head office.

The only CE's I'll buy ever again are the ones that have ingame content (stuff like the Forza 3 set and upcoming ME2). Every other company out there can thank Eidos for the crap they pulled with Batman as to why they'll probably never see my cash again.

Its not worth paying extra for, you're right. But they were doing it for free if you preordered. Which is why I'm pissed off.

Game head office called bak and said the staff had been rude to them when they called to enquire so they offered us a ten quid voucher and an apology. We bought it from hmv and will use the voucher online.

Nevet buy them - couldn't give a toss whatever extra's they put in the box. I do have a mate that does though, he recently sent me a picture of him waving his batarang around wearing his cod6 night goggles.. More money than sense.

I'd rather have a code for some DLC or some such.
