              They do have a point. Sonys demands to the likes of youtube and facebook for peoples details just because they clicked on a video link is bang out of order. There is nothing in Sonys TOS about internet viewing.

                That falls under the DMCA though I think. You're allowed to request the details of anyone sharing or viewing 'copyrighted material' in order to build a case. Of course, YouTube are allowed to say no and force the accuser to get a writ...
