    Ah, perhaps that's why.

I'm quite sure Hoolak has the PAL version, which he bought from this very forum.
      Kept you waiting, huh?

I've got the UK version of the Gold Edition, keeping it until Move is released though.

The games I'm looking to buy at the moment are three September releases.
        • Echochrome ii [PSN]
        • Time Crisis: Razing Storm

And although it's not really had a lot of publicity I do like the look of Tumble.

The games I already have are these.
        • Heavy Rain
        • Resident Evil 5
        • Hustle Kings
        • High Velocity Bowling
        • PAIN

Sony rep came in today. Had a Move "Remote" with him. Spent 10 minutes docking around the XMB using it (didn't need the camera, guess it used the accelerometers?)

It's weighted just right and the squeezy ball on the end is, well, squeezy.

That's ridiculous regarding Gold edition, why can't the patch be applied to the standard edition. Hope this doesn't set a trend for old games being rereleased with Move support.

I thought all versions were compatible. Gold already has the patch on the disc, or sommat like that anyway.

Nope. Confirmed that you need the Gold edition to play it with the Move. Crazy stuff.

It does seem a bit daft but this was on the PlayStation Blog a while concerning the reason Capcom gave Sony.
This will only work with RE5 copies labelled “Gold Edition” — the original version of RE5 won’t be receiving the patch, for technical reasons.

From what I was told, the issue here is technical in nature. The early versions and later G.E. versions have some pretty different code, with the G.E. being developed with future support for Move in mind.
Not sure how accurate Capcom are in what they claim though.

In any case i'm glad that i hate dlc and went for alternative
edition instead. Seems digital downloaders got the shaft yet again.

A more detailed technical explanation of this buggery.

Pre ordered Re5 Gold and the Sports game last night from Shopto.
May well go for Heavy Rain as well but what I'm waiting on is for someone to get Time Crisis available to pre order.
Found it on Amazon.com but nowhere in the UK, is this even going to be a release title?

Not sure I'll even get Move at launch now that Socom's been delayed :-(

                                You and your Socom!

Buy some singstar move and have a karaoke jam.
