Not made my mind up whether I'm going get one at launch. At the moment the games aren't doing anything for me but the thought of a new piece a shiny hardware maybe too much to resist!

I loved the DS and honestly couldnt be less interested in this...

If the games were region free and the battery life was better then maybe I would have a desire to check one out but after seeing that line-up at launch very little is original and that inspiring for me to be a day one adopter.

I would of course love to know what its like to play in 3D but that requires first-hand experience.

waiting for the 19th to hear about UK/US release. Anything over a month or 2 and i may pick up a Japanese import at launch regardless of price

If it is only a few weeks after then i will still pick up a Japanese model at some point as there are bound to be those Japanese only titles such as Jump Superstar and Osu Tatakae Ouendan

It's nintendo, they've been reselling the same games to us for about 25yrs. I personally cannot wait for another mario 64!

Well that's different really. They're literally just releasing N64 games on a handheld, and stuff like SSFIV. That'll play well on a 3DS won't it..

Given there's likely nothing worth buying on launch I'm mulling putting the 3DS on the old Comet card so I don't have to go through the trouble of saving up at short notice. That way it can turn up in its own time too as I'm done with the launch day rat races.

Think I have convinced myself to get a JPN launch provided I've the disposable income to hand. Will probably wait for the inevitable hardware revision 'lite' or 'xl' before I get a US one.

Has there been any news regarding a web browser? The ds one was bloody awful. You'd think they'd of come up with something better (if there is one) but I very much doubt it.

I don't understand how people can say they're fans of the ds yet then say that the 3ds doesn't interest them. Absolutely bizarre. From memory the ds's launch line up was dire compared to the 3ds.
