US console for me then. Region locking is so counter-productive, I've lost count of the amount of times I've walked past a game in a store and been tempted to purchase, only to remember that I cannot play domestic games. Your average Joe buys their games at Asda, whereas by locking importers out of domestic software, they are forced to import.

I agree, hopefully Super Mario 3D will be a more traditional-Mushroom Kingdom based Mario game. Although they might be tempted to make a portable 3D Galaxy, which to be fair would also end up being incredibly sick. Planets comin out of yo screen.

Mario 64 again though...please no. That would be disappointing.

Pre-ordered mine at GAME at lunchtime - ?10 down. They reckon it'll be 'around-?200'. Which, also, was to be expected given the launch price of DSi.

Probably sell out for a few/6months...hence I have preordered 3. Am hoping if I can sell 2 for a profit, it might fund the other. If there are a shed load of the things, I will just buy myself one and cancel the other preorders.

I suspect that when people actually get a chance to see the machine in action they'll be falling over themselves to buy one.

Incidentally are there any reports on the net from any of the folks who attended the Japanese showing? I'd love to hear some first hand reports from ordinary punters.
