I'm starting to see this. Should probably just go with the flow:

"AHMAGAWD it cost more than 50?. Greedy bastards!"

An order from Amazon.com will be about £200 plus import tax :-/ That's not a massive saving if any.

Didn't watch any of the conference (either of them) but reading the last 6 or so pages of this thread has been hilarious. Good work NTSCers.

$315 (£197) including import duty (using the slowest shipping method). Hardly worth it unless you specifically want a US for region locking purposes.

                I'm expecting this from Sony:

Hi, This is the PSP2, it has processor X, resolutions Y, touch pad this, button that etc. it will launch with no games, jus an assembler and a C compiler, it runs Linux and as you're all sooooo bloody clever apparently just write your own games or emulate stuff we made for PS2 back in the day. Thanksbye

Sorry, it actually works out to ?197 on Amazon USA. I had a $10 gift card there so mine ended up at ?190'ish. If the UK price comes down, I'll go with a UK model (?200 is my point)

                    First UK price:

                    £229 from HMV

                    US price : £160 + shipping + duty.

                    Cheaper to import.

GAME have listed all 3DS games at £39.99, could be just placeholder though.

ASDA have all the games at £29.91 but no consoles yet. Come on ASDA give us a £200 3DS, that'll do for me.

Oh good ole ASDA. Majority of games are indeed £29.91 with a few listed at £39.99.

Metroid Level in DOA Dimensions - looks nice. So Samus Aran to be playable secret character I bet. No more dialogue please Team Ninja

£230 translates to €275 so it will probably be €299 here, too much for me. Of course thanks to EU, importing is easy these days.

Anyway, I'm probably going to wait and see how the PSP2 turns out and what kind of games will come for both platforms, can't really justify buying both to myself, I'm a cheapskate (and not made of money). I went with the DS over the PSP last time, but time will tell with this generation I guess.
