just did the system update after connecting to my wifi and it installs a 3d video demo that only lasts 1m20s, its stunning, 3d cinema for live action at the cinema has always looked a bit 'off' to me (though CGI is fine) but this is all live action and its amazing.

proves to me what a serious bit of kit this is and not a gimmicky toy some may think.

Yes its amazing just downloaded itwell I've had the machine on for 2 hours and I still havent plugged in ridge racer or pilot wings can't believe I've been mesmerized with the software that's in built well impressed with the machine now time to plug a game in

I tried a couple of DS games in mine and the upscaling, for me, is absolutely no problem. I probably wouldn't have noticed in Spirit Tracks at all if someone hadn't made an issue of it. If anything, some game text looks better compared with my DSi.

What do we thing of the analog disc thing? The top feels 'powdery' and my thumb wants to slide off it. I really like how big it is but overall I think I prefer the PSP Go's nub with the grippy grid on it.

I love it, feels perfect on Street fighter for me. Had no slippage issues, maybe you're just sweaty

Gotta disagree there mate. Looked fuzzy & a little dull imo. Knocked it down to 1.1 & it looks much nicer but the screen is tiny

Well had my 1st 3DS disapointment! Opened a sealed Pilotwings and my VIP card was all mashed up with the silver section ripped off :/ Not sure if theres much I can do about it!

Oh well at least the games are awesome ive played so far!

Ridge, SF, Pilotwings, GR all cool. Moving on to monkey ball now!

Update on the amazon situation too actually...
I complained and a refund of ?3.25 (delivery cost) has been requested against my order.

Tesco cancel an order for a 160 quid console, I get Nintendogs for ?9.90
Amazon screw up getting it to me for launch, I get ?3.25 FOR SOMETHING THEY DIDN'T DO back.

Yeah my d pad has some major noise going on lol.

sadly due to ingrowing corneas i can't see the 3d while it would be nice to see but i still like the console even with the 3D off plus i get a longer battery life.
