I will do- I just logged in for the first time since the move having been away the past couple of days.
I don't think my GF could see it properly either, so now I'm wondering if it is knackered...

Coupled with the very high price, crappy battery and hundreds of reports of the 3D affecting peoples vision i think many will have been put off by this. The fact that children under 7 years cannot or should not use it is a ball buster for Nintendo, thats a HUGE market they discounted themselves from. Hoping Zelda is to a success. I dont think its been anyway near as successfull as what many were expecting, shops still have loads of stock, (I work part time at morissons) and they have had a new delivery today so have plenty of stock, they just arent shifting them how they expected to.
got to say none of the launch games i am really that excited streetfighter 4 looks good but i have it for the xbox and having a cutdown version does not appeal to me

star fox/kid icarus are the ones i am looking forward to but i think i will wait till the next version of the 3ds.I really like the idea of watching 3d movies but i feel the screen is to small and i hope with the next version will be a bigger screen and better cameras

The body does adapt to its environment (to a degree), but the way your muscles grow if you train them doesn't apply in exactly the same way to your brain. The thing about hair growing back thicker if you shave it is a myth as well.

A week later, I straight-up can't see the 3D on mine. Utterly bizarre and I can't figure it out. I can see 3D with glasses at the cinema/on 3D TVs, and I did a load of magic eye pictures the other day to make sure I can still do them, which I can. But the 3DS, I just can't see 3D, even on the lowest setting- it just looks like 2 images that are out of sync.
Sounds a lot like my Dad who gets nothing but pure 2D out of the 3DS

Objectively though the line up is one of the better one's. There might not be a killer app yet but it covers most demographics to a reasonable level. The battery is a rough spot but price wise people are paying more for other devices like the latest phone, tablet or things like a 360 with Kinect (which has a much weaker line up but still cleared 10m). The 7 rating means nothing or else millions of kids wouldn't own GTA or COD every year. The 3DS has had a well supplied launch which is unusual in gaming so people equate supply with success which is a crap measurement system. Launch was never in doubt, just the post launch period which starts after E3

Got my first streetpasses Thursday, 3 from either town or uni. I've been keeping it in a side pocket I can do up but I'm not sure where I'll put it in other trousers, if I start carrying it in a bag I want a case, I like that suedey one with the squares that carries 3 carts. I got another streetpass last night while seeing Adam Buxton (from Adam and Joe) at the Norwich Playhouse. There HAD to be someone with a 3DS in there since I don't live that far away and really didn't walk past many people before or after. So there's 2 weirdos at least willing to take the thing into a theatre. It didn't catch on with the DS, I used to take Animal Crossing everywhere and got **** all. Maybe tomorrow I'll brace town and just wander around shopping centres, especially the game shops.

I might play for an hour in darkness later, I want to see this white rectangle it'll be like free drugs! I wonder what it looks like on psychedelic drugs, research must be done, but not with Splinter Cell, what a massive downer.

Heres a leaked US release date schedule , looks like the 2nd of June may hurt a few wallets, or are some getting all 4 big titles?

Isn't there 6 big games - practically all the Nintendo games announced for it. Seems hard to believe they'd all come out on the same day... Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, Paper Mario, Kid Icarus, Star Fox and Zelda, all on the same day? Surely not!

Though the sooner the better as far as I'm concerned.

I'm guessing it must be an April fools? I was forgetting what day it was, bit tiresome if it's just a joke...

It says Super Monkey Ball is out in June as well, definitely a joke.

Even if it's not an April fool, it just looks wrong. Also it's dated January and I imagine few of these releases had any sort of solid release date by then or we'd know about it. Monkey Ball coming in June? Well that's wrong. Asphalt in April? That's wrong too. It's probably just a really early Gamestop guess.

They're just the usual stock dates retailers use so they can start booking pre-orders before they get a real date. Ninty's already said Zelda's their only release in June

Anyone struggling for Mii's on streetpass should just go to your local Game/Gamestation their instore units usually have it set up

That kinda feels like cheating, I wanna pop to Wilko's (not that they exist here, Wilko's I miss you!) and get one, or the butchers, or on the bus or just walking through a park.
