RE is about all I can think of for the circle pad and I haven't played Mercenaries or the demo but, having played PSP games of that type without a second nub, I can see why I'd want one. But if the control does work well without it, do I want the ridiculous bulk?

I reckon it replaces the L button for strafing and takes some of the controls when aiming down sights, though both are really easy to do under standard controls anyway.

MGS's is a bit hard work though.

Regarding the Slide Pad, one thing I can say for it is that it's pretty comfortable to use and the hold for a prolonged period fo time. It does however make the 3DS much bigger and weighs like a brick. Definitely worth getting the Zavvi one though for the price they're doing it with Resi for. I'm all over that as a spare

Guys!! Any of you been having fun with the new Nintendo Lett Box (that's what is called in UK, I think its called 'Swapnote' in the US. No idea about Japan.......)

Anyhow, it is amazing. It takes a wee bit of use to actually get into it - everything isn't locked initially, you unlock things by using it, but eventually, there is a whole host of cool stuff to play with. Being able to send photos and sound recordings across the web is wonderful, its so easy and there's a unique charm to it all.

I've been having a lot of fun with the 3D with this too - it truly does look amazing. The little one was trying to put her finger under the text and pick it out! It is amazing . Download it for free and check it out dammit!
