Silent Hill: Downpour 360/PS3

Talk about overkill!
I can't wait for the HD Collection but not sure about the other two releases. Is one of them a remake or are they both new games?

They are both new games, Downpour is consoles, new story and lead character slightly different way of exploring apparently, bit more open world. Book of Memories is for Vita and from the looks of it, a top down arcade zombie shooter with Silent Hill characters throughout the series.

Only days until the game is out, and where is the hype? Konami seems more concerned with marketing the HD Collection, making me wonder if this game is pish.

I am still looking forward to it...and the Vita game. Most people hated Homecoming but I played through it a few times to get all the endings! Are these supposed to be out here on the same dates tho (+ the normal 3 days)??

I have a 20% off a Vita game in March voucher to use y'see and Unit 13 was the only other option and the Demo was terrible for that so its out the window!

Keeping an eye on it, will be something I pick up when all the awesome games run out (SFxTekken, ME3)...probably.

Despite fairly average reviews I think this is exactly the kind of game I'm in the mood for. Hopefulyl Grainger gets it in stock

I cannot understand why Konami aren't shouting about this. So far on Metacritic it has had a 7/10 from Game Informer. That doesn't seem bad enough to scare them and have them slip it out quietly.

There'd been a lot of rumbles about this and HD Collection slipping to the 30th March. This teaser is out now so seems likely that'll hold as the date:

Probably a wise decision to let Mass Effect 3 get out there and take the sales.
3 weeks gives people enough time to play Mass Effect 3 at least 3 times over

I still might give it a punt, IGN's review didn't come across very well written and most other reviews have come in around between 7-8 which is decent enough.

I'm really excited for a slightly open world survival horror game. The scores seem to be all about 7/10 with IGN being the lowest by a large gulf.
