I must admit, the demo has discouraged me from buying the Circle Pad Pro for now, I can't possibly see what it could add to the game. Still, it seems like a healthy amount of games will be using it.

I haven't played the demo but I'm having a hard time figuring out how exactly the controls work without it (just so used to dual sticks I guess, and some really awkward PSP setups). How does the conrtol work?

Did Resident Evil 4 and 5 use the second analogue stick? I can't say I remember really using it.

Only for camera control is 4 but 5 could be setup in a modern style with the move/strafe on left stick and turn/look on right.

I haven't played 4 or 5 for reference. Well, I played the demo of 5 but I honestly can't remember how it worked.

The fact that the circle pad resi set is only available in a bundle at zavvi is really getting on my wick.....this should be widely available as who really wants to pay an extra ?15 for something that should already be on the device. At least with the bundle its nickels and dimes.

They better do an ambassador version 1.02 for this crap.

If it is anything like Mercenaries 3D you won't have camera control unless your gun is drawn in which case the left stick controls the camera and pressing both triggers allows you to strafe.

I can't help feeling that there will be a bunch of games that will take advantage of the circle pad, which if you dont have it will mean they're god awful to play.. saying that I got quite used to Metroid Hunters system... at least the ResiEvil deal on zavvi softens the blow!

For Resident Evil specifically, as someone who has played the demo, absolutely not. But it might be a worthwhile investment for later games. The Zavvi package seems like a good deal.

I might wait for a different circle pad exp bundle as the mediocre review scores are starting to make the Revelations bundle smell like a bad idea to me.

I just wonder why Zavvi is the only place with this bundle. Weren't they the only place stocking the 3DS Williams Pinball Collection that,as it turned out, didn't exist?

They might have just gotten standard exclusivity on it, like the rip off MGS HD Collection LE they have too. It's a bundle well worth picking up considering the cost of the slider pad on its own and the likelihood that any later bundles most likely won't cost ?30

Really sad that this only got 6 in Edge and GamesTM. Does anyone know what the issues were?
