And my cheapo usb hub works fine in the back for play and charge kit, sd card reader, headphone charger. Haven't tried it for the wifi, but I'm using a network cable now.

I might just save the ?20+ on buying a dedicated 16GB USB stick and put it towards a 250GB HDD though.

I'm going to be using it but only for backing up my saves.
I'd run out of space on my 256MB memory card a couple of months back and had ben trying to get hold of the 512MB cards but hadn't been able to find any. I imagine like most people I've got loads of redundant flash memory cards which had been replaced by larger ones so it's essentially a free bonus for me.
I've got no need to back up anything else as I've still got over 80GBs of my 250GB drive available.

You can already get decent PES option files if you know someone who has the HDD transfer kit, you use that to connect your HDD direct to the PC and then use software to copy the option file direct onto the HDD.
Works a treat.
This is a blessing for me. I regularly go between two machines in my lounge and study so had to use a memory card till now and keeping game saves in synch was a chore. Now I've got 16GB to play with on a spare USB key I can chuck my pathetic memory card away.

I hate DRM'd game-saves.
