dont know if this is possible with current xbox live but is there a way that if i get cutoff on live it will auto reconnect ?

That's literally all I care about now, there's nothing MS could add that could make the service any better for me, just performance.

They could make the interface usable. That would be a start. i.e. so you can see what's coming on the menu list in both directions. Or allow me to get rid of all the stupid icons and just see a list of text that I can scroll through 10X faster. This is one of the daftest interfaces I've used in the last few years.

If no one understands what I'm on about, go to game marketplace and scroll to demos. The quickest way of doing it is to go down 2. But you can't see that - it pushes you in the other direction.

According to my sources (Twitter) invites for the preview are due to start going out at some stage today. Nothing specific yet though.

Is it just me or does this happen to anyone else? Basically if my broadband is slow, it slows down access on my 360, like waiting for the save screen at a title screen for ages.

Yeah things like that. The guide button runs like a bag of ****e when teh internetz is slow.

The thing I hate most is that the guide is coded so that it completes any task before it allows you to do anything else. Many times I accidentally select the friends tab and I have to wait ages for the guide to retrieve all friends info like avatars, game session status etc. and you cannot even do something like back out until it has completed retrieving this info. I'm also certain that MS servers are also responsible for the poor guide performance..
