It's probably my own fault for not following development further than a couple of Youtube videos and I'm still in shock. How on earth did they let this in? It's not an RPG. The people looking at potential DLC revenue I guess. It just feels so against everything a fighting game should be. Hopefully I can ignore the dumb flashing characters.

I personally feel they bring a lot of strategy to the table, although I can see how they'd work in theory, I'm not at the level where I need to worry about using them properly just now.

The netplay is total bollocks here (XBL), when SSF4 on the other hand is almost perfect. I hope they can sort it out.

Somehow I've ended up on Ryu and Ken. I seem to have a new team every day.

Due to the recent health issues, Ono has stepped down from his post in Capcom. Someone else is going to be appointed to run the SF series with Ono hoping to return down the line. Personally, I won't entirely miss him. Though in many ways it's good to have someone promoting the series and the genres revival so hard, at times it's a little too much like the 'Ono Vanity Show'.

Somethings a bit funny here, does anyone know what he's suffering from as the timing of this is slightly odd. Not just because SF vs Tekken has tanked alonged with Utimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 in recent months and the bad PR around Capcom as well at the moment. Almost looks like they've quietly demoted him, Japanese tend to have a strange way of covering things like that, still I wish him a speedy recovery if he is suffering from ill health.

Sadly Darkstalkers looks a long way off after seeing the sales figures for SF vs Tekken, still we can but dream.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 had nothing to do with Ono-san.

They were produced by Ryota Niitsuma, who also produced Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.
