Funnily enough they list Starcraft 2 as one of their top 3 played games at the office at the moment.

That must be why they haven't reviewed it.

Lara Croft review is pretty poor. It does indeed read like a higher mark than a paltry 6, and it feels for all the world like the reviewer is treating it as a whimsical little novelty; not a proper game at all. I wonder if the review would feel so patronising if the game had nothing to do with an old franchise, and was instead a new IP. Take Lara Croft out, replace her with Larry Bollocks, and it would be praised for its rock solid gameplay, interesting puzzles, and isometric spin on the well worn 3D action adventure genre. The co-op would be slavered over, as it re-writes sections of the game rather than arbitrarily shoehorns a second player into precisely the same bits, and for an XBLA game to have this much care and attention paid to it is excellent.

It's a good issue IMO. Certainly better than last months. The RB3 article is great and the other Harmonix bits are cool.

Don't agree with the score for Valkyria Chronicles 2. That's the only thing I can pick at.

Got the issue today, and I think one of my favourite things is the art in the EA feature. Did anyone else play "work out the game from the EA logo"?

            I only got The Sims

Really, really enjoyed this issue. I do like Edge, and although i can appreciate their opinions may not suit everyone, it's their writing style and ethos towards games that i personally appreciate. It's the only magazine I'll happily go to the shop and purchase knowing that I've likely already read multiple previews / reviews on the games they've listed - but it's always Edge's words that are absorbed.

Oh! And great Fable 3 preview... Not bursting with positivity, but a good read :-)

Starcraft II doesn't need a review. It just needs to be played.

Don't worry about EDGE. I've played it. An easy 8/10 in anyone's books. Crackin' graphics and sound!
