Loved the music, loved the atmosphere, but trial and error gameplay just leaves me cold after a while.

Sign me up for one of the best games the year is was released.
Only flaw I had with the game was the cutscenes being completely different to the game and not particularly well done. The parkour, combat etc. was all spot on IMO.
Thinking about the game again makes me wanna go finish the levels on TT, which I never got round to doing.
The iphone version was quite enjoyable too, kept it simple but also maintained the idea of flow.
Would love to see a sequel, but didn?t the original tank really badly? I remember the lesson being ?don?t release new IPs in the Christmas period?

GM of DICE already said last week they had several secret projects in the works that he can't talk about now, one has to be Mirrors Edge.
Want to see where Battlefield is built? Watch DICE general manager Karl-Magnus Troedsson guide us through the office that is hard at work on Battlefield 3.
As for the wider audience remark, take a look at Dead Space 2's sales to see people gave it a bigger chance second time around than the original. Now I feel this wasn't because of MP that was added or making Isaac speak, it was because over a long period of time a LOT of people had picked up (new and 2nd hand) copies of the original and enjoyed it, feel the same would happen with Mirrors Edge 2.
Game has gained a lotta respect from a lot of people over the years, just needs to refine more of what made it good and dump the parts that made it bad.

Oh no, this means they're probably going to remove the gunplay if they make a sequel. But I loved using the guns in ME. Best bits of the game if you ask me.
"We see that there's a huge fan following, it's almost like a cult! And we know what strengths we had, and what weaknesses we had in that game. If we were to release a new game, we'd know what to improve and how to reach a broader audience. So I definitely think there's a market there."
