Awesome, really love Mirrors Edge, although i couldn't help but feel most of the time it'd feel so much better and amazing if i was replaying it. I never quite felt i knew what i was doing but there was small moments where everything linked together perfectly and felt great.

Yup, when you saw what was possible, time trials had a crazy high skill ceiling even in tiny stretches. Piecing it all together to run entire levels was incredibly satisfying. That level which ended with you jumping between cranes still rates as one of my most memorable adrenaline rushes in gaming.

This is one of the few things I'm curious to see at E3. Really glad it's happening regardless, but can't help but be a little nervous someone will have missed what made the original great and steered it off in some other direction. Fingers crossed!

DICE is emphasising again that this isn't a sequel... so a rejigged remake. Barring a shock is seems a bit unnecessary to push that aspect, the early footage had the game look very similar so it's hardly going to be the thing that sways doubters.
