Yes that the attitude we need for more great games or even a follow up to happen.

Perhaps if developers released finished games and stopped putting content on the disc then I would care.

Hold up, that ur dragon stuff...
Does that mean this game does have online multiplayer?

Info on the net is saying it isn't online co op. Pity but it is probably too late to add it now and a patch might be too much to change?

I would imagine each single player party would add to the total damage sustained by the enemy to bring it down and whoever gets that lucky last hit gets the reward. Still a cool idea.

capcom stated that "even if you are playing offline/solo you can still encounter the Ur-dragon but the rewards will be different"
co-op in this would have been amazing, i just hope the AI characters hold up.

Game Informer gave it a score of 85, so there's hope that at least the game might be decent. and, luckily, my Samsung TV has a zoom mode especially for letterboxed movies ,)

Team has no prior experience of companion AI (as far as I can tell from listed previous work) and Capcom's previous forays into this field include Resi 5 and Lost Planet but you keep that hope alive mate!
I'm being facetious, the AI required in this would be different to that needed in those other two games so you never know. Co-oop would have been cool though.

Capcom says it's looking at its policy of on-disc DLC after all the complaints but games like Dragons Dogma are too close to release for any changes to be made.

Empty gesture really, surely if Dragons Dogma was 6 months from release, taking things off the disc to release as DLC later misses the point completely.

I'd say we've more chance of the second coming of Christ than we do of capcom changing their ways. They've been ripping off fans for decades with their "Super Hyper Mega Whoop De Doop Edition" re-releases of SF games for example which add an extra character or two and charge full whack for it.

I'll probably do this. I don't feel bad about it. Capcom must know that some of their customers are like this. If I had zero other commitments then I'd game more and probably get this day one and suck up all the DLC. Lack of time means I have to make decisions about what to pay full price for. Choosing to not buy certain games because I don't like the way it's being sold/marketed or whatever is one way to narrow things down.

i figure Capcom still hasn't got the message and has to learn it the hard way. i surely wont buy this until it's confirmed that i don't have to buy DLC to get the real ending of the game.

Ambitious, grand, at once derivative and pioneering, Dragon's Dogma may not be a classic but it's an important title nonetheless - the first example of a blockb

Eurogamers review is up and it gets a positive sounding writeup and a score of 7/10

IGN's review says that if you have the option, go with the PS3 version as the 360 version struggles with slowdown.

They both struggle with slowdown. I'm trying to get to the same place with the 360 version (as I've progressed further with he PS3) just so I could see if the versions are on par with each other.
