After playing the demo loads...and I hate to repeat myself, I'm gonna stick with PES6.

PES2012 is great though, monkey running aside.

Pes6 was good. But I don't think I could go back to it.

PES 6 was very good back in the day. Now it just feels old. 2012 to me feels like PES 7, an evolution from 6. It has much more scope for tactics and plays from 6. The PS2 games were leaders back in the day and wonderful games but now they are just limited, albeit fun.

I'm all over this when it comes out. Yeah, it's not perfect i.e some animations and some dodgy goal keeping, but it's finally what PES should of been when it came to the current generation of consoles.

Will be getting FIFA too! Win/Win!

Observations:

Nice game of football, especially the shooting.

However, there's one or two things that annoy. Firstly, one of the animations. When playing the ball in front of a man for him to run onto, sometimes when he reaches the ball he'll stop his run, and stand still with the ball, before having to gather up speed again. What's that all about? Happened about 20 times in 3 demo games. Just run onto the ball and take it in your stride! This has never been a problem - why is it now? It really upsets the flow. There's also numerous other jilting, unnatural animations when on or around the ball, like you're playing with a second, invisible ball.

Also, the constant freezing of action. Hope these are just demo skanks.

The proof of the pudding, though, will be that dreadful ML wages thing that ruined the last game, where wages are the same as transfer value.

You on 360? I keep getting minor pauses in the action. Hoping its demo only. Very annoying. Had players leave the ball behind when running as well. Hmm.

Yep, 360. It's spoiled an otherwise very enjoyable, decent length, impressive demo. Random pauses all over - even in midfield with no tackles flying in or anything. I thought it might just be a goal thing, but no.

Is there any chance they will fix the goalkeepers before release? Don't remember them being this bad in PES11. I'm finding them absolutely ridiculous.

This second demo allegedly has fixed the keepers! They seem to go from invincible to De Gea standard in the blink of an eye. Weird.

Was going to be a 17.99 job for me but I wont even bother now if that's the final game. Was playing a mate in some pretty big sessions, had 6 to 8 goals per match. Lots of really stupid keeper mistakes, they dive out of the way of the ball sometimes and go off the pitch. They can't catch anything either.

Few positives: Short passes now work, hurray! and players are running forward with you now which is excellent. Nice that you can control a different player during free kicks. Only had a few penalties but they aren't stupid anymore thank god. Love the random shout from a spectator "move you f***ing w***er!"

Still mostly pointless making all that stuff good if you go and put plonker goalies in, don't know what they are thinking.
