I see they've still not included an optical audio output then. Boo.

Or a built in LAN port. Again.

If you play with two Wii U pads the framerate halves.

Also - 3-5 hour battery life.

I have been completely uninterested by every single announcement so far at E3 from anyone. But, this looks ****ing AWESOME fun!

Nicked the link from neogaf. The video give a much better impression than the other videos I have seen so far.

When you look at the Wii U page on Nintendo, there are actually a fair amount of decent games listed there. Mass Effect 3, P100, Tank Tank Tank, Tekken 2 and plenty of others. They may not all be Nintendo titles but you would have thought they would have secured the rights to put a video showing the titles that will be coming within say 6 months of the machine coming.

Instead it was a fairly weak showing with nothing that screams buy me.

I remember Qwalitee Chimp posting in the arcade thread about how good Tank Tank Tank is. It looks like a proper blast of a game. Fun, and with no tedious baggage to bore your ****s out of your arsepiece,

Absolutely loving that Project p100. If i end up getting a Wii U il definitely want that!

Just read on CVG.com that the Wii U gamepad battery will last around 4 hours and it will take 2.5 hours to charge!

I just don't get why you would want to have to take your eyes off the screen to be able to play a game?

That's what the touchscreen controller looks like to me. The Joy of early games was when you got to the point when you did everything without thinking about it and the game just flowed, putting a screen in there that you have to keep looking down at ruins all that.

After the E3 conference I'm somewhat winded with WiiU. I think they've done alright with the hardware but it's got that feel that they're going to be rushing it out to market again without decent software to promote for it. There's no system seller for it yet for the general audiences. If I get one it'll mainly be because most of the interesting games of 2012 have been delayed to 2013.
