Yeah there are plenty of fat characters, but they're almost exclusively there just as comic relief. The guy in Bayonetta too.

And hardly any are playable!

There's Rufus in SF4. Well, he's playable anyway, but still pretty much a comic character.

The guy in GTA San Andreas got pretty fat if you fed him burgers. Just like me.
