Apparently at the weekend Amazon briefly listed the remastered editions as coming out on 28th Oct. Not that coming out in the midst of mass competition would be a problem for GTA but I'd hoped for mid Sept given thats when it came out last time and the schedule atm is clear during that window

Completely lol I was sure current gen sales would be high enough that it wouldn't warrant risking resources and potentially lessening demand for GTA6. Guess not lol
Rockstar Games typically steers well clear of E3, but it did choose to make a big announcement to coincide with the eve…
Digital Foundry tries comparing versions, mostly worth it just for the vids where similar areas are side by side

I was really impressed with the improvements visually, it seems they haven't just upped to 1080p, but have made major changes to the textures, vegetation, view distance and # of onscreen vehicles.
Hopefully the game will still play great with increased traffic, and I can't wait to complete this on PS4, I have a 60% complete save ready to go!
