Probably just chilling on their boat, sipping lemonade.
    That's what I would do...
The pirates must have taken her to the area off the map, the bit that is too dangerous to visit! DAMN YOU PIRATES! YOU SAID YOU WOULD TAKE HER STRAIGHT HOME!

Thats quite funny actually. It is too dangerous to go off the map, yet here I am taking on Ganondorf and hunting down the tri force shards

I like WW. I like the funky combat. I like the combos. I like the 'parry/attack' maneourve, especially for the stand out set-piece of the game, at the end (miles better than facing off against Ganon in OoT) which I won't spoil here.

      On second thoughts...

Had me in raptures for weeks after that one.

Though the dungeon design in MM is superior, the 3 day limit forces you to rush through them. I got caught out at least three times, and had to do the Water and Forest ones again. Having said that, the more I think about it, the more I wish there was another save slot so I could go back to it again, and finish it for the third time.

The scene could have been played out in stormy conditions and the windfall characters could have been all downbeat and depressed, spending the remainder of the game floating off to a smaller island to set up camp.
That would rock, but I think the sea combat, as it was, would've tainted the experience.

There I was, expecting a typically non-commital 'banishment' scene with Ganondorf drifting off into the fog a la OoT. But then that happened. Ouch.

It was quite a dirty death scene for a Nintendo game, really... especially as he continues talking afterwards. Oeeewwoo. Maybe they should get themselves a new baddie for the next Zelda, seeing as Ganondorf has had his ass well and truly kicked by now.

That's like having a Mario game with no Bowser. Firstly, the WW incarnation of Gannondorf was excellent, and seemed evil (for once).

Secondly, look what happens when there is no Ganon (yes Majora's Mask and Skull Kid, I'm looking at you).

I find the idea of using Ganondorf again most exciting due to the placement of the Master sword?

              Where is it?...

Why embedded in Ganon?s cranium, that?s where. It will be kinda like sword in the stone, but the stone isn?t just that, it is also the prison holding the great dark lord at bay. Surely this opens a great number of possible story lines for Nintendo to play around with? what reasons could there be for link to return to retrieve the Master sword? for not only will he be releasing the immense power of good, but also Ganon himself?

              Oh the possibilities

This post brought to my mind visions of the next Zelda game with an undead wisecracking Ganon running around the world causing comic havoc while simultaneously trying to keep his body from falling apart ala Monkey Island.

                The horror....

I believe the word is 'pwned', or, as I like to pronounce it, "porned"

oh, and that's a really good idea Manta Ray...might have to try that one

i ****ing loved every second of it, a true masterpiece, pisses on everything i've played on GameCube. Easily one of this gens top game.

As for the style, i thought it looked fantastic.

WW is indeed a most fantastic game, but my biggest grumble would be that the game seems visibly rushed at a certain place: Possible spoiler ahead:

The last two dungeons, in which you had to accompany first makar and then... the girl with the harp, you know who i mean, seemed rather uninspired to me. The dungeon design was ok, especially the wind-themed makar level, but they were over too quickly, and already you were up to the final showdown. Compare this with OOT, in which after becoming an adult you are taken aback by how much there is yet to achieve. It seems to me that these last two temples were rushed in to fit a deadline, and further temples that should have been included were omitted. Still, it stands as a remarkable piece of code and bodes well for the sequel.

On an unrelated note, Adam Stone I like you. You're enthusiastic and so clearly in love with the series
